
The Kennedy program is influenced by the US Air Force and Civil Air Patrol, but cooperates with Navy JROTC at Manzano High School. Every student has the opportunity to become productive citizens from pre-school to specialty centers from biomedical to engineering our students receive education, certifications, and credentials that are life-changing. The Leadership program has several competitions against the other middle schools in the program every semester. Kennedy Middle School students involved in co-curricular athletic programs will compete within the Braveland Conference. In-person participation is important because the class operates as a leadership laboratory, and depends on personal interaction. Much of the class concerns life skills and preparation for success in High School and etiquette for situations like job interviews and formal events. Leadership is an in-person class promoting concepts and values like Integrity First, Service Before Self, Excellence in All We Do, Respect for all, Accountability and Personal Responsibility.
